CNC MACHINE OPERATOR: Job Summary
Etezazi Industries, Inc., is seeking CNC Machine Operators with 5-Axis experience, able to:

  • Prioritize safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Manage their time effectively and be flexible to meet production needs/schedules among changing priorities.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to perform first piece inspections.
  • Understand and utilize Machine Shop Math, and decipher angles, dimensions, tolerances, etc.
  • Check CNC machinery is in good working order before set up.
  • Examine and inspect articles produced to ensure quality.
  • Monitor the run throughout the cycle, checking that specifications are met.
  • Perform all necessary machine maintenance and use equipment properly.

CNC MACHINE OPERATORS: Responsibilities
CNC Machine Operators at Etezazi Industries, Inc., are expected to:

  • Work with a variety of materials, including: aluminum, titanium, steel and composite.
  • Read, review and interpret CNC program blueprints.
  • Operate HAAS 5-Axis and SIEMENS control machines.
  • Deburr and inspect parts.
  • Consistently produce quality to specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workplace and adhere to safety policy.

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR: Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Minimum of 1 (one) year CNC Machine Operator experience required; 3 (three) or more years CNC Machine Operator experience preferred.
  • Firm grasp of Machine Shop Math.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Experience with HAAS 5 Axis and SIEMENS machines.

Job Description

Position Objective

The estimator is responsible for providing competitive, profitable bids on RFQs in a timely manner, in order to win work from existing and potential customers.

Essential Functions

  • Provide functional support and responsibility for multiple projects and provide managerial responsibility for the Department Operations.
  • Coordinating multiple estimates simultaneously as well as review responsibility for multiple estimates or large estimates.
  • Establishing and maintaining an estimating department evaluation procedure.
  • Recruitment and development of all estimating personnel.
  • Assisting operations to select projects to bid.
  • Establishing and coordinating bidding schedule.
  • Reviewing project to develop win strategy.
  • Reviewing pricing and scheduling.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with owners, consultants, subs and suppliers.
  • Reviewing project cost reports.
  • Developing and maintaining estimating systems and procedures.
  • Arranging and managing bid turnover to operations.

  • Reviewing final cost report with project team and develop for historical information.
  • Assisting and preparing fee and risk analysis.

Work Environment

Expected Core Hours/Days of Work

Expected core hours of work are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Required Education/Experience

Requirements may be waved at the discretion of the CEO.

  • A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years previous experience as an aerospace estimator or estimator administrator.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in business.
  • More than seven years of experience as an aerospace estimator.

  • Set up and operate powered machinery to bend, form, notch, punch, straighten or stretch metals and structural shapes as specified by blueprints, drawings, layouts or work orders.
  • Perform finish assembly processes to produce parts by following QA specs.

ASSEMBLY: Responsibilities
Sheet Metal/Assembly persons at Etezazi Industries, Inc., are expected to:

  • Set stops on machine bed, change dies and adjust components, such as ram or power press, when making multiple or successive passes.
  • Operate power press, power brake, foot-powered press, hydraulic press, batwing, or like machinery to bend, form, notch, stretch, punch or straighten metals.
  • Select and position flat, block, radius, or special purposes die sets into ram and bed of machine, using hoist, crane, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
  • Install, align, and secure gears, holing fixtures, dies to machine bed, using gauges, and/or templates, and hand tools.
  • Measure work piece and verify dimensions and weight, using micrometer, template, straightedge, and scale.
  • Complete small part assembly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ASSEMBLY: Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
  • Two or more years of experience as a machine operator, or related experience.
  • Firm grasp of Machine Shop Math.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with precision measurement equipment (calipers, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints.
